Visiting Author, Tania Norfolk
It's always special to hear an author read their own work and today Victory Primary School students were treated to a reading from local author Tania Norfolk.
Her book 'Grasshopper's Week ' has just been published with fantastic reviews
Tania also brought along draft copies of both her writing and some of the illustrations by her equally talented brother, Chris Norfolk. It was very helpful for the children to see how the pictures and writing had adapted and improved over time as her beautiful book took shape. In earlier drafts the main character (Grasshopper) was originally a cricket!
'Grasshopper's Week' is Tania's first published book. The good news is she has plans for writing more - we can't wait!
