Just one gem of advice from multi talented writer Kate De Goldi. Her visit to Victory Primary School at the beginning of the term was inspiring and a highlight of the year. She shared many more gems of wisdom and advice for budding writers. Her ability to reach the very youngest of our students as well as our seniors ensured complete engagement - She encouraged the children to "write about what they knew - their family, friends, the things around them..." and then she showed everyone her much treasured first story written in class at age 5. Her story was simply about her sister and a slide. .... and everyone lived happily ever after!"
