Kia Ora my name is Jade.I like to be in the library
because reading is my favourite subject. My favourite
books are the Geronimo Stilton because they are funny
and make me laugh.I like being a librarian. I like
to issue books for other people in the school.

Shakana is a New Library Leader

Hi my name is Shakana. My favourite book is
Rat Burger and it is funny. I reckon some kids would
really enjoy it because it has some really exciting new
words to discover like, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

There were no surprises with the Diary of the wimpy kid titles and the ever popular Roald Dahl. I was thrilled to see David Hill's 'Sinking' as our 6th most popular title. David was one of our visiting authors last year and made a big impression on the students.  

I wonder what our most popular titles this year will be? 

Making fun stuff - Family Fun Night

Monster bookmarks, Author posters and Fairy tales - just some of the fun things kids (and their parents) could create in the Library during our recent Family Fun Night. What a great evening.  I Love your scary bookmarks!

How to be a Librarian

My name is Phoenix. I have been a librarian for three
years. Being a librarian is very complicated. You have to
remember all the rules. There is a list of things you have to
do so you can get your librarian's badge. It's a badge that
says"librarian." I have to issue in the return books, put away
books, help out little kids, and check the books are in order.


It's just fun being a librarian. I like books. I'm kind of a book worm.
Andy Griffins is my favourite author at the moment.

Dastardly Dinosaur's - Room 5 Diorama's

Room 5 have shared their wonderful Dinosaur Diorama's with the rest of the school and displayed them in the Library. What a fantastic job they have done! And what a bright addition they have made. Thanks for sharing Room 5 - The other classes have enjoyed looking at your work and reading about the different dinosaurs
